ABCs of Dog Breeding: Canine Anatomy Course

  • $ 0.00

The ABC's of Dog Breeding program takes a practical, step-by-step approach to the art and science of breeding.  The goal of the ABC's of Dog Breeding is to provide a home study course for dog breeders by gathering together in one comprehensive program the "need to know" information from the fields of domestic animal breeding and canine genetics. The course is written in collaboration with Claudia Waller Orlandi, Ph.D., and designed by the AKC Canine College.

The ABC's of Canine Anatomy program is divided into three parts:

Part 1: Evaluating Structure and Balance
Part 2: Evaluating the Dog's Body

Part 3: Evaluating the Dog in Motion

Check out the demo below for a sneak peek of the course.

Once you have completed all three parts of the lesson, you can take the optional Canine Anatomy Breeders Exam worth 3 CEU credits.

Upon passing with an 80% score or higher, your frameable certificate will be mailed to you. Please allow 4-6 weeks for printing of the certificate and receipt by mail.

*We make every effort to process the certificates in a timely fashion. Please note that there may be additional mailing delays due to COVID-19. The 4-6 week timeline is only for domestic orders. International orders may experience delays beyond our control.

Once you have completed your application and the ABCs of Canine Anatomy Program, you will be notified to complete the Canine Anatomy Judges Exam.
